watercolor

These are pretty small. Eugh, and they've also scanned horribly. This is where I realize I am horribly out of practice when it comes to watercolor (really any traditional medium). Then again, I was never really too skilled with it from the beginning. Individually each should have taken maybe an hour and a half tops. But I think they both took me a good few hours since I was being all careful and slow and distracted and being sucky. I do like how the colors came out though. Thinking about framing these and selling them cheap. Maybe $5 a pop? We'll see, once I find suitable frames.

last of 2010

My last efforts at the end of 2010. This is one of the years that I am glad to see is over. It wasn't a horrible year, but there have been many disappointments (especially in myself), but there have also been many improvements. Things have balanced out in their own way I suppose. I spent New Year's Eve at the mall (whut? Lame!!! I know). However it was with some old friends and some newer and all in all, I haven't been to the mall in ages and ages and it actually turned out alright. There were a lot of laughs shared. :) Not too much shopping done but who cares? Still, glad to see 2011 here and the things that'll come! :)
